After flying overseas on Saturday, I’m hanging out in Seizer Alm, Italy, which may have the best skiing anywhere, hands down. Sunny skies, great views and that unbelievable Italian food have made for a great few days so far. This little mountainesque getaway is about 1800m high, so it’s on the verge of being an altitude camp. For training it’s alright, but for speed workouts we’ll be driving down to Val Di Fiemme, host of next years World Champs and giving me the opportunity of crossing it off my list of must see places. I’ll be training here with the rest of the Canadian World Cup crew along with Academy teammate Alysson Marshall until March 1st, and then it’s off the Lahti for the first set of World Cups. After Lahti, we’ll be heading to Oslo, Norway where I will be racing the 50km Holmenkollen, which I’m not gonna lie, is gonna be awesome. There shouldn’t be a dull or quiet moment, and it will be my first time to see how the Norwegian’s like things done. From there, it's Sweden for the Finals, and then back home to Quebec for National Championships to wrap up the season.

Awesome ski with the crew yesterday. Blue bird skies and some crazy views, which Len's helping to point out.
Lastly, a huge thanks to Automated Tank Manufacturing Inc. for sponsoring me over the next couple years. Based in Kitscoty, Alberta, ATM prides themselves on a high level of achievement, integrity and innovation making them one of the leading vessel manufacturing companies in North America. Their help will be an immeasurable aid to my skiing.
And I know, there has been a serious lack of videos since December, but Italia is too good to pass up some sort of awesome video. Stay tuned.
